A budding saxophonist in the Phoenix and Seattle scenes, Jacob Lipp has performed all around the U.S. and is constantly working on his craft. He has played with renowned musician’s such as Alpin Hong, Nick Manson, and Gerry Gibbs. Jacob was also a member of the Phoenix based psychedelic rock band Harrison Fjord, with whom he has recorded two studio albums and several music videos. He went on to study and specialize in woodwind repair at Renton Technical College, ending up working with one of the largest instrument manufacturers in the world on their professional saxophone lines. Jacob has gotten to work on the horns of Bob Mintzer, Don Byas, and many other pro saxophone players. He is based in Tacoma, WA and can be found teaching and playing around town.
